No client situation is ever the same so we tailor the precise format of each workshop to our client’s situation. Frequently clients ask us to help them improve their approach to complex internal meetings by redesigning them and facilitating them. We can run our workshops at your premises or, if budgets allow, we have a few sensational venues up our sleeves. We always advise trying to work ‘off-site’ as there is far greater flexibility to incorporate ‘social’ time where relationships in the team can be strengthened.

We use workshops because they are a simply fantastic way to stimulate creativity, build alignment and constructively surface and debate differences of opinion. From our experience workshop are efficient and effective ways of delivering actionable output because they create:

  1. directionality. frameworks and guardrails deliver outcomes in complex topics

  2. alignment. some voices are bigger than others, but all opinions must be heard

  3. focus. certain topics are great to talk about but do they really matter?

We recommend that where possible our workshops - which are usually multi-day - are held off-site. This allows the team to work together without the daily distractions of the office environment. Being together at a carefully chosen location allows the team value time to socialise informally and build stronger bonds that will enable more effective communication and efficient execution when back in the office.

Meeting Design & Facilitation

We apply our skills at running workshops to meeting design and facilitation. There are often times when having independent support on structuring a meeting on a complex challenge is a worthwhile investment. We are often called upon to design the best structures for meetings that need a facilitated approach to drive the best outcomes from guided, interactive conversations. We take time to work with clients to understand the business context and some of the issues. We take care to thoroughly nail down the desired outcome. We then recommend an approach for a meeting that we facilitate. This leaves our clients space to discuss whilst we manage the time and ensure that focus is maintained. It takes experiences to structure a session that will carry all participants through a logical process whilst maintaining energy levels and enthusiasm. It’s a skill we have finely tuned.
