Performance. Based on a p.a.c.t
Great teams are made not born. Performance does not just happen. It takes:
practice
accountability
communication
and above all, it takes
trust
Top teams, especially executive teams, must ensure that they have in place the right mechanisms to drive high performance. Executive teams tend to be staffed by individuals who, as leaders of their own functional divisions, departments and teams, are used to being the point of ultimate responsibility in their own swim lanes. Executives can have big voices, big personalities and a few have big egos - collaboration is not always something that they find easy especially if it involves giving ground or playing a supporting role.
